FootID Pro launches this year as Foot ID retires after a great run since 2019.
KevinRoot Medical is happy to announce the launch of FootID Pro, a fully digital, end-to-end platform for prescribing Root Orthotics. FootID Pro gives clinicians a modern, streamlined workflow for capturing foot data, customizing prescriptions, and managing orders-all without paper forms.
Scanning ends September 15th
All submitted scans from Foot ID (legacy) are securely stored on KevinRoot Medical servers. Any scans saved locally must be uploaded to ensure future access.
Goodbye paper order forms
Starting in Fall 2025, KevinRoot Medical will no longer accept paper order forms. From then on, all orders must be submitted through the new Foot ID Pro platform.
Ordering
Once a tedious and cumbersome process-is now faster, more intuitive, and fully customizable. Clinicians can build and save templates for common prescriptions, enabling one-click orthotic selection and modification. The platform also supports a seamless workflow: scans are captured using an iPhone or iPad, while order customization and submission can be completed on a desktop-making it easier for clinicians to review details and even show patients what they’ll be receiving.
New features
New features include a multi-location dashboard that allows larger clinics, hospital systems, and group practices to manage multiple providers and patient orders from a single administrative view.
Looking Ahead
Future updates will include built-in biomechanical assessment tools, AI-assisted prescription recommendations, a growing catalog of clinical products, and a consumer-facing store. This online storefront will allow patients to purchase over-the-counter products and seamlessly transition to in-clinic care when prescription orthotics are needed.

FootID Pro is available now to clinicians globally, and Root Orthotics ship worldwide. The app can be downloaded today on iOS. Existing users of FootID Legacy can migrate their accounts with one click and are encouraged to contact support for any questions or onboarding assistance. New providers can begin scanning patients in less than five minutes and receive complimentary orthotic pairs to help familiarize themselves with the software and product offering.
