Natural and breathable genuine leather

About:
Glove leather is a thin, durable, natural top cover material that sits on the superior surface of the orthotic, covering the entire heel cup and extending to a desired length: mets, sulcus or toes. It is commonly selected for dress devices because of its attractive appearance, great flexibility and resistance to harboring bacteria and odor.

However, it is not recommended for high levels of activity because it takes longer to dry if a lot of perspiration is present. As a top covering, glove leather covers any modifications or additional materials requested and comes into direct contact with a patient’s plantar foot.

Note: Pairing glove leather with a cushioned layer (e.g. Myolite) will provide more comfort if desired.

Orthotic Lab Codes:
TC-GLO-ML: Glove Leather Top Cover to Metatarsal Heads
TC-GLO-SL: Glove Leather Top Cover to Sulcus
TC-GLO-TL: Glove Leather Top Cover to Toes
TC-NO: Omit Top Cover
